1. Who we are
Jobzo is a product of VrittIQ Ltd. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean VrittIQ Ltd.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers:
- this website, including the signup form and the product demo;
- the Jobzo waitlist and the founding member offer, including the optional $1 spot hold;
- emails we send you about Jobzo, and calls you book with us.
The Jobzo app is not open yet. When it opens, we will update this policy, or publish a separate notice, to explain how we handle the information you and your customers put into the app, such as quotes, voice notes and photos.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Signup details: your first name and email address.
- About your work: optional answers about your crew size, how many quotes you send a week, the materials you work with, how you quote today and your biggest headache.
- Calls and messages: anything you tell us when you book a call, speak with us or email us.
Payment information
If you hold a founding spot for $1, the payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Stripe collects your card details directly. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, the date and your email address.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and when.
- Campaign data: which advert or link brought you to the site, and the version of the page you saw.
- Referral data: if you join through another installer’s invite link, we record whose link it was. If you share your own link, we record who joins through it.
Some of this is collected using cookies and similar tools. See section 5.
Information from others
Advertising platforms such as Meta may tell us how our adverts performed. This is usually aggregated and does not identify you. If you joined through a referral link, the installer who shared it is the source of that connection.
4. How we use it and why
We only use personal information when the law allows it. The table below sets out what we use it for and the legal basis we rely on.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our interests against your rights. You can object at any time (see section 9).
We do not use your information to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects without a person involved.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. When we transfer personal information outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by one of the safeguards UK law allows, such as:
- a UK adequacy decision, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified;
- the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can ask us for more detail on the safeguards we use.
8. How long we keep it
- Waitlist details and answers: while you are on the waitlist. If you leave the list or ask us to delete them, we do so promptly. If we do not hear from you, we delete or anonymise them within 24 months of your last contact with us.
- Payment records: for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because UK tax law requires it.
- Unsubscribes: we keep a minimal record of your email address so we do not email you again.
- Usage and campaign data: for up to 26 months.
If you become a Jobzo customer, your account information will be kept as described in the policy that applies to the app.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to us using it, including for marketing;
- ask us to send it to you or another organisation in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, write to us at the address in section 1. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first. There is usually no charge.
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, which stops marketing emails straight away.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If you live outside the UK, including in the United States, you may have similar rights under your local law. We will honour requests to access, correct or delete your information wherever you live.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and choosing providers with strong security. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee security. If a breach affects you and puts your rights at risk, we will tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
11. Children
Jobzo is built for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the Jobzo app opens. We will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also email people on the waitlist.
13. Contact us
